Where has the time gone?

Wow, where has the time gone – it’s almost August!

I’m so excited to be blogging again. Since my last blog, I’m thrilled to see BRA-sériē increasingly reach more and more women across the United States, even as far as Alaska and Canada! It truly warms my heart to receive beautiful photos from women of all ages wearing and flaunting their new shoulder candy. And I’m excited to see what the future brings as we step into select retail outlets -- for example, BRA-série can now be found at at Haute Urban Mess in Cypress, Texas!

As you may already know, launching a company and growing a new fashion brand takes time and patience. I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t admit there have been many challenges along the way. Although these obstacles have at times seemed overwhelming, I’ve continued to push forward, past the challenges, and in the process I feel I’ve grown as an entrepreneur and as a person.

Entrepreneurial life is certainly a crazy adventure! What keeps me motivated and inspired are the opportunities I have to meet so many amazing women along the way. This year, I’m so incredibly grateful to have crossed paths with one of those amazing women: fashion blogger Shalini Srivastava!

This incredibly talented young woman definitely has the “it” factor! She exudes confidence and positive energy, yet at the same time you can feel her compassion and sense her humility. It wasn’t long after our first encounter that I wanted Shalini to represent my brand, and feature her in our “Woman In Charge segment. I encourage you to read more about her -- you will be impressed!

Shalini and I have shared two amazing collaborations. Our first project was the photo shoot titled “Saree Not Sorry." This shoot was so different from what I had done before, so completely “out of the box” for me. But I knew this would be a perfect opportunity to showcase the versatility of BRA-sériē, and showcase and our potential as an international brand that appeals to women from all cultures! Seriously, how many new fashion brands can legitimately make that claim?

Our second collaboration is our newly published Lookbook 3.0 - once again Shalini killed it! Our new lookbook redefines how we, as women, think about bra straps. And it shows that BRA-sériē is a the perfect accessory to make any outfit look even more stylish.

Finally, I want to thank you all of you for following me on this exciting, challenging, crazy journey. I’m beyond excited to see where we go from here! As always, feel free to contact me personally, I’d love to hear from you. And keep sending those selfies -- I just LOVE them!

XOXO!
